Buffalo Steak and Broccoli

Recipe: Buffalo Steak & Broccoli

Serves: 4 people


1 tablespoon coconut oil

1 pound of Buffalo Steak

1 tablespoon minced garlic

1/2 white onion chopped

2 cups of broccoli

chopped chives , optional

salt and pepper

For the sauce:

1/4 cup coconut aminos or gluten-free soy sauce

1/2 teaspoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

2 teaspoons ground ginger or 2 tablespoons fresh ginger

1/4 cup bone broth or beef broth

1 tablespoon honey


  1. In a large skillet, melt the coconut oil over medium-high heat. Add the meat cut into pieces and cook, until sealed.

  2. While the meat is cooking, mix the sauce ingredients: coconut aminos, sesame oil, apple cider vinegar, ginger, bone broth, and honey in a small bowl. Set aside.

  3. When the meat is done cooking, push it to the side of the pan and add the garlic and onion. (Add more coconut oil here if needed) Sauté garlic and onion for 1-2 minutes or until fragrant.
  4. Add the sauce and broccoli to the skillet and stir to combine with the ground beef mixture. Bring sauce to a simmer and cook broccoli for 3-4 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally. Serve hot over cauliflower rice and top with green onions.
