Homemade Paneer
Homemade Paneer Recipe
Ingredients:
- ¼ gallon of unpasteurized cow's milk
- 1 lemon
- Cheese cloth (any cloth with small holes that separates the curd from the whey also works)
Preparation:
1. In a pot, heat the milk.
2. Observe the milk carefully, at the moment it begins to boil (when it begins to inflate) immediately turn off the heat.
3. Add the juice of 1 full lemon and stir gently. Remove from the stove, cover and wait 10min.
4. Uncover, remove the curd and put it on the cloth. Let it drain for 1hr putting weight on top.
5. Cut into squares and add to your favorite Indian dishes!
