Pak Choi & Shitake in Sesame Oil Recipe

Ingredients:
- 6 units of pak choi
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1lb shiitake mushrooms
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon of fish sauce
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Preparation
- Boil the pak choi for two minutes. Rinse with cold water.
- In a wok, fry the garlic in the vegetable oil. Add shitakes.
- In a bowl, combine 1/2 cup of the water with the cornstarch. Add to wok.
- Add pak choi to the wok along with the shitake mixture. When it is boiling, add fish sauce and pepper.
- Turn off the heat and add the sesame oil, sesame seeds and salt to taste.
