The antibacterial, antiviral and disinfectant properties of silver have been known for centuries. Formerly it was a common practice to introduce a silver coin into the milk because it was known that it would keep longer. Today, silver is mainly used in its colloidal state, that is, as a solution in which silver particles are dispersed in water. The amounts of silver needed to make colloidal silver are minimal (a few parts per million). The small size of the silver particles makes the solution more effective, by multiplying the contact area with the germs. The silver particles have a diameter of 0.01 to 0.001 microns (one millionth of a meter).
Colloidal Silver is the result of an electrolytic process that takes place in water that attracts sub-microscopic silver particles from a larger piece of pure silver. These particles remain in suspension due to the small electrical charge on each particle. Due to the minuteness of the particles, silver can more easily penetrate and travel throughout the body.
The effectiveness of colloidal silver against bacteria, fungi and viruses has been repeatedly shown in laboratory tests. In alternative medicine it is frequently used as a natural antibiotic. Microscopic silver particles suspended in water are capable of destroying even the most antibiotic-resistant microbes. Colloidal silver, unlike conventional antibiotics, does not destroy the beneficial intestinal flora , which stimulates the proliferation of fungi such as Candida albicans, the cause of chronic Candidiasis .
Colloidal silver has been shown to not only kill certain bacteria, fungi and viruses and even tumor cells , but also stimulate bone growth and promote wound healing, even in patients with severe burns.
The action of silver is specific to certain cell structures. Any cell that does not have a chemically resistant wall is affected by the action of silver, including bacteria and other organisms without cell walls, such as extracellular viruses. Since mammalian cells have a completely different coating on their cells, silver has no effect on them.
For humans, silver in its colloidal form has virtually zero toxicity. 2 teaspoons per day contain less silver than the limit stipulated by the World Health Organization. Silver is easily excreted from the body, mainly through the urine.
Dr Hulda Clark recommends the use of colloidal silver as an antiseptic during and after dental work. Six drops on the toothbrush after meals and one tablespoon as a rinse, gargle, and swallow. It is particularly effective against Clostridium, a bacterium that produces abundant DNA similar to ours and that contributes to the growth of tumors . Clostridium usually resides in root canals.
To relieve pain, a dose of one to four tablespoons is recommended, and can reach up to ½ cup in situations of acute pain. Take a tablespoon, and after 10 minutes another. Repeat until the pain subsides. Do not exceed half a cup (120 ml).
For Normal Use: 1 and a half teaspoons 2-3 times daily (two or three tablespoons daily). Children from 3 to 12 years old two or three teaspoons daily.
